Rotary Breakfast-September 2012

On September 18, 2012, Chester Village West, a retirement community in historic Chester, Connecticut, hosted a breakfast for its residents and members of the Chester, Deep River and Essex Rotaries.  Representatives from Sister Cities Essex Haiti focused on the library project and shared the most recent architectural renderings of the building.  Susan Carpenter, a Rotarian who is heading up the drive to provide 1,000 books for the library, made a successful appeal for contributions to that effort.  Thank you to all who attended and contributed!

For our friends in Deschapelles, Haiti, that is a luxury that not many have. Read more…
